I love to listen to music while working. It helps me to focus and get into a productive mindset.
I usually listen to jazz or playlists that I have curated for work. Occasionally, I'll listen to white noise or nature sounds if I need to block out distracting background noise.
What about you? Do you listen to music/white noise etc. while working or do you prefer working in silence?

Love house & EDM with — some — lyrics! Lyrics engaging but not too full of narrative/imagery. Nature is such a good palate cleanser. AirPods with canceling one of the best investments on 🌍

I feel pretty different every day, so I can work with LoFi, crazy phonk, synth-wave, retro wave, hard rock, punk, or even old-school rap. Sometimes I just prefer external music (coffee shops, restaurant, etc) or simple silence.

I like to listen to movie soundtracks/score. I feel it helps me get focused. And, I can't sing them even if I want.lol

I prefer complete noise when working on a task that requires deep attention.
The level of focus and engagement while working depends on my mood and the nature of the task. When faced with a job that requires concentration, I leave my headphones apart and give my full attention to the work. However, if the task is more routine or comes naturally to me, I find that listening to fast music helps me stay focused.
I usually have different playlists for different kinds of work. If it's intense work, I prefer classical to help me concentrate more, if it's light work I go with loud music

I tend to listen to classical music to focus on a task or to ignite my creativity.
Depends on what I'm doing. I prefer melodious, soft music while I'm writing content and metal when I'm doing any research or analytical part.

I had tried listening to music and working, but it didn't work well in the long term

It actually really depends on my work mood and on the task I am performing. If some assignment does not require any textual content creation, then I'd go for music or actually some TV show on the background :D But if the task involves writing or reading (not design or basic planning), I prefer complete silence.
Depends what I'm working on.
If it needs high focus, then it's silence
If it's monotonous, then I listen to music

I love classical music playing in my ears while I'm working or study.
Granted, I don't like to wander far off exploring😅, so I just stick with Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven.
Actually, Beethoven's Für Elise is usually my productive song.
Do you like classical music?

Depends on what I'm doing. If it's writing English, needs to be silent. If it's writing code, will usually put on music without words (techno, classical, jazz, etc.).
Anytype
Depends on the type of work!
When ramming through a bunch of small tasks, I like to have some music on in the background to keep the energy up.
When in the office and it's noisy, I'll put on some headphones and listen to some smooth, lofi jazz or something more ambient.
When doing 'deep work' - writing posts, editing video or the like, it actually helps me to have some sort of trash TV on in the background 😅

lately, as we are approaching launch day. I only listen to music to wind down before sleep.
That's great to hear, @ezgiyeginaltay! Listening to music can be a great way to stay focused and productive while working. Do you have a favorite genre or artist that you like to listen to? I find that instrumental music or ambient sounds are particularly helpful for concentration.
I've been working/studying by listening to music since the 5th grade, it doesn't matter what the subject is.

I listen to focus and deep music while working, it makes my concentration better!✌️
This is definitely a "depends" currently I'm enjoy-ing the Portuguese spoken around me softly. Usually downbeat house, never really white noise.

I like any noise but not very loud, for example, interviews on a background
