I used to work at a company that had a very soft background lo-fi music playing in the background all the time. Have you experienced a similar situation? what do you think?

Yes it is very important
Yes soft music is best
Sure. It's essential for my working environment
I don't it should be in the background. Anyone who prefers it can plays one's own in airpods. I like to listen to music but not everytime when I'm not in mood.
Imposing lo-fi music for everyone could be uncomfortable for a few people
Focus or Relax
I usually enjoy my new launches appš I can focus or relax when listening to it
Yes
Yes soft music
If it's repetitive work, I used to hear OSTs. If it involves creativity and thinking, I'd prefer a silent place.
Not in the office, but I enjoy a good work session with some Bon Iver playing in my headphones!
yes i do and i am my own jockey as i work from home :)
No, is it even a thing?
Not a fan of background music at work. I need the sound of my own thoughts, you know?
Not usually, but coming into the Christmas season we'll start playing festive music š
I am the office DJ and play a mix of Eurovision and 90's/early 00's hits, they go down well with most. Shakira's "She Wolf" has randomly become the office anthem šŗ
Not the biggest fine! Because some people prefer to stay in silence, you shouldn't put a background music
