How is this different than Rent-A-Center, other than Rent-A-Center not charging customers when they change furniture?

No clear model for monitization (the front page even says "Kollate has you covered. For free.") which makes me wonder what they're getting out of me.
Pros: Neat concept, sort of? Evernote, Keep, and Pocket certainly aren't without their flaws.
Cons: It's Evernote, Keep, and Pocket rolled into one, but doesn't offer a mobile app and the browser extension doesn't appear to work.

I tried the free demo and then immediately bought it. I can't overstate the value of being able to point this app at a directory and get a visual preview of every video file in there, then move the source files into cold storage and keep the previews on hand. Like, really! That's huge!

This is absurd as a subscription-based product. There are dozens of CLI tools that do exactly this for free, such as https://github.com/FullHuman/purgecss And because they're CLI based you can include it in your task runner so that it only runs when new iterations of a project are built. Paying a subscription fee for writing is a terrible idea. How much are the actual writers possibly making off of this? A 250/mo per customer, it's not enough.
Pros: I guess this is really cheap
Cons: Devalues writing and the content creation process

You have to crawl through 14 pages of the advisory client agreement to find out that there's an insane 0.6% annual program fee, and you can only see this after you've spent ten minutes setting up your account. That fee is more than double any comparable app. Incredibly shady.
Pros: Beautiful design, great idea
Cons: Ridiculous hidden fees
