For brainstorming, definitely physical notepad. For quick notes around, I preferred digital notes for the ease of access and updates.

Hi guys, I'm Zameer, Maker of NumberTabs (You can find it on Product hunt), working as a Technical lead at 99x Sri Lanka.
NumberTabs was a side project I've been working on for like 6-7 months. I launched it like a week back. Idea is that there should be a Notes App for any calculations (calculations are very much part of our lives and there was no good home for it).

I go through many calculations within the day, all were mainly going into my notes. But many times I had to do calculations within those numbers, or even just look at how they were derived. I couldn't do that on any notes apps or calculator apps. Some calculations were ongoing and some needed more context.
