I've been using Avica to remotely access my company's Mac computer from my Windows comp at home. It lets me choose Ultra-HD image quality and even rocks a smooth 144FPS. The whole experience has been solid. Avica offers both a free version and a pro version (paid). The pro one comes with some extra fancy features, but you can register as their user and get a free 30-day taste of the pro version.
