I love this. For me at least, if there was a simple iOS app that just gave you an editable version of this same page (and did nothing else) it would be just about perfect.

@satefan Was it a conscious decision to not make this Focus a share sheet target? I open a big proportion of my links via the share sheet so would love to be able to use this for that scenario.

Even earlier there was PlanetAll (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlanetAll), acquired by Amazon. But, not as influential.

@mulligan, this doesn't seem to work for our app (Paper). Maybe because it is iPad only?

Looks like a really solid start. One issue I found right away is that it seems to pick between walking and subway by itself (at least in NYC) and is making a poor choice for some of my routes.

I can't help thinking that this is all just a trick to get data for run at the Turing test.

I was always a huge Instapaper reader for commutes, but pretty much 100% of my content came from longform.org. Now that they have released their app (http://www.producthunt.com/posts/longform) I'm rarely using Instapaper at all. I wonder if that is the standard use or if people really are importing a lot of links themselves.

I was definitely interested to see the revenue model - are there other apps that have successfully used the idea of converting content from ephemeral to permanent as the free/paid line?
