Finding affiliates for a software company?
Besides the standard answer of "find people who's audience is that of your ICP" - I'm wondering if anyone here has niche/industry specific advice that could help a software company (bootstrapped with a small team) find quality affiliates.
I have a B2C tool called Pluq.io that is similar to Google Drive + Dropbox but for bookmarks and links, which essentially means that the "ICP" is quite broad...

Are Chat GPT Wrappers a long-term play?
Obviously we're all familiar with "Chat GPT Wrapper" softwares and webapps.
In the short run they can definitely be of value by extending the features of AI into a niche problem/solution.
BUT, I think it's obvious that any AI software product/mechanism that is worth anything is going to eventually be swept up by all of the industry giants.
For example, right when Chat GPT opened up, everyone...

Explanations and educational material explaining why you might be feeling the way you’re feeling.
This would help people visualize what’s going on and help you better understand the “why”, rather than being completely in the dark regarding your feelings.

Depends on how much money you trying to get.
If you’re looking for a few grand, then definitely just learn the skills and build it yourself.
Once you’re seeking $***,*** then it’s gotta be a stellar product to begin with along with product market fit.
Any tips on how I could get investors for my product?

Very much depends on your responsibilities outside of the business you’re trying to start.
If you’ve got very little to lose, or if you don’t mind struggling a bit to try things out, then absolutely take the risk.
“No risk, no ‘Rari”
Alternatively, if you want to take a more conservative approach and expose yourself to less risk, I’d go the route you’re going which serves as a bit of a...

Haven’t done anything of the e sort myself, however it CANT hurt right?
Since I can’t come up with any downsides (publicity is publicity - especially amongst target audience), I don’t see any reasons not to implement it when/where possible.
I would not, however, drag things on and hold up the timeline to get collaborations in order — rather work on getting them in action on the side.
Collaboration marketing. Yes or no?

Probably biased as I have never used teams, but Slack (from what I’ve seen) has many more personalization and integration opportunities.
Which, if you don’t need it or you’re not tech savvy, can be a bit overwhelming - but if you’ve gotten familiar with it then there is a lot of room to optimize everything.
Slack or Teams?

Reddit is cool, just started posting there myself, and I think it serves as a great spot to start “finding your voice.”
Lots of people get scared and anxious when trying to post online for the first time - but with Reddit you can make an anonymous account then just start posting and commenting with value until you become more confident and aware of your online voice.
Highly recommend.

Is there one content type/format you’d recommend more than others to grow?
Articles, videos, etc?
Curious for your answer, as I can’t recall ever seeing anyone discuss a LinkedIn content strategy.
Appears to be a blue ocean for the right business model.

Does LinkedIn have something like that?
If so, unfortunately, they're probably very strict on who/what it can be used for.

Freemium can get a bit hectic without the proper infrastrucutre to maange it. Not to mention that the goal of freemium is to EVENTUALLY get them to pay and/or to refer paying users.
Ony a small scale (a "soloprenuer" for example) this can be difficult ot obtain due to the time horizon that you are operating in. In this situation you ost likely need revenue...FAST.

Very much depends on what it is you're trying to "get" out of college. For careers other than those such as medicine/law/etc that REQUIRE extensive book knowledge, college has much more to offer than just the material that is taught.
Many of the current anti-college people online at the moment just hate on it cus its trendy, and ironically many of them havent even been to college...
Aside...

Which video editor do you use to create content and marketing/sales materials?
Currently using CapCut desktop myself, while occasionally using Canva if I'm looking to use simple animations.
