I knew it didn't go well....
I had just presented a new product idea to a VC. I thought I nailed it. The problem was relevant, the opportunity size was meaningful, and it could scale.
I paused and waited for the questions.
I heard my least favorite words....
"If I understand this correctly?"
It was the diplomatic version "that doesn't make any sense."

I worked for the town I grew up in mowing grass, cleaning bathrooms, and gathering trash. It was definitely a learning experience!

I'm focused on refining our external messaging for customers, taking a complex and powerful platform and simplifying the story. We've got several customer meetings where we'll be testing!

How do you give back?
I truly believe most people want to leave the world a better place then they found it. Getting involved in communities like PH can be a great way to give back and build meaningful relationships. Finding local nonprofits to volunteer with is another great option.
