Hello Makers and Hunters, Thom from Unrevealed here 👋
It’s good to be back as a Maker, with something that’s been 1 year in the making!
How it started 🐣
A year ago, I was leading the Developer Experience team at Maze, trying to improve the life and productivity of 40+ fellow Engineers.
During that time, I’ve realized how much complexity was involved when answering this simple question in...

OMG I was looking for exactly this a few days ago, and searching city by city on Nomad List was not practical. That's it, I'm moving to Lisbon!

I tried getting into meditation a few times, with Headspace and Petit Bambou, but never managed to form a sticking habit. Every time I'm super motivated at the beginning, do it every day for 2 weeks, but then life happens and I end up forgetting completely.
I had the same experience with running for years, and I've recently managed to finally make it a habit, so I know all hope is not lost....
Do you meditate? Which apps do you use?

Total introvert here. I love being surrounded with friends and actually need social interactions in my life, but I get tired really fast if I don't get some time alone from time to time. As a remote dev, I feel really thankful to be able to choose between going into the office or staying home.
I also recently started DJing and I love the perfect balance of interacting with the crowd without...

I discovered Lazy this Summer in my cowork. @demtzu showed up and he had a pretty nifty way to turn on his fan. This caught my attention and I asked him to show me how he did it, using just his keyboard. He could control all kinds of stuff: vacuum, curtains, coffee machine, lights… I was amazed by what he could do with keyboard shortcuts to save time at home and at the office. I thought it...

I open Instagram once in a while but could really do without.
I only use Facebook for events. I deleted my Facebook account in February, but had to create it again in July because I was organizing a party. I was also feeling out of the loop when I was not aware of events happening in my groups of friends. The problem is almost all of them rely on Facebook to create or keep track of events. I...

Going to the Netherlands with some friends. On Saturday we're going to a kind of Total Wipeout place, should be fun if no one dies 😅
Probably gonna play some board games, try to drink reasonably, and DJ too (gotta find some use for the 700W speaker I just bought 😄)
All in all, should be a nice week-end 👌🏻
What are your plans for the weekend?
