Now that's a good idea, I've been looking for a way to get users feedback without having to poll them, when they have something in mind that they would like to share, a suggestion, a bug report, a feature request or anything that could help the product to stick closer to the users needs. My take on this would be to do things that don't scale. Reach out to your audience with a direct approach (which requires identifying which channels are best), and then maximize your efforts.
