Whether it’s scaling marketing efforts, acquiring users, or optimizing conversions, let’s talk about the hurdles and how you’re tackling them.

1. A trial-first approach so users can try out all premium features within the first 2 weeks.
2. Keep the time to AHA moment as short as possible. It is important to demonstrate that your product solves your user’s pain point. Generally, the user's though should be like 'Aha! I can [SaaS Feature] to [user's JTBD]'.
3. Know your target audience, their pain points and motivations very well and...

Speaking of personal branding, word of mouth usually worked better than other channels and it was also surprising to see those unexpected recommendations from previous coworkers or clients.
The second channel was SEO but I didn’t follow a real strategy because I was too lazy and treated my personal brand as a side hustle regarding to my full-time job. So I just wrote 3 articles on Medium (it...

1) Atlas Shrugged | Ayn Rand
One of my favorite quotes: “If you don't know, the thing to do is not to get scared, but to learn.”
2) Animal Farm | George Orwell
This is a classic ironic quote that says everything about the farm order the pigs were trying to build: “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.”

Amazing question!
With my marketing background, I am constantly testing marketing channels and growth ideas to have a sustainable portfolio that will support a growth. Why should it be constantly? Because when a business is growing, companies typically should spend approx. 40% of their marketing budget testing new channels.
Another thing from product perspective - to think about how to...

Hi Lydia,
I hope my experience in B2B, particularly in Edtech and Fintech, will be relevant to you. When it comes to go-to-market strategy, I typically break tasks down like this:
1) Clear positioning: Ensure your messaging aligns with the needs of your target audience across all channels and surfaces. If you have multiple target groups, consider segmenting them. For instance, you could create...

I am a little disappointed 🙂 because I keep postponing an idea that I’m excited about. As a marketing person, I had the idea to contribute to the startup community by reviewing startup landing pages (via Product Hunt or Y Combinator) bi-weekly (for free).
The idea is to share my thoughts and suggestions for testing publicly to help improve conversion rates. However, I’ve been putting it off...

1. Do my homework (I'm learning German)
2. Discover a new coffee shop downtown
3. Complete some work tasks.
Sounds like a mix of both. @busmark_w_nika have a great weekend.

I really like the idea of your product and you deserve success. I have a few notes based on a quick overview of your site. Based on my growth marketing experience, my notes are aimed at increasing conversion:
1) On the first screen, two calls to action (buttons) are competing with each other (Sign Up and PH). This can affect the conversion rate. Identify your primary CTA and reorganize it.

From my experience, the Grammarly Chrome extension can help you build confidence in your writing skills. Also, I now sometimes use chatGPT to rewrite texts for external presentations, etc.
Overall, reading professional articles and watching online courses help you expand your active vocabulary and boost your confidence.

I don't think it will be a big trend, but I see this idea as a product for a small segment with high checks (like yachting).
But in reality, people can do it (get rid of / reduce internet communication) right now without going i.e. to a tiny village. You can just delete/block at least all social networks and apps on your smartphone. But the biggest problem is that people are already addicted...
Do you think the next trend will be renting no-internet access villas to have a break from online?

Almost all marketing and product courses are by Reforge. I like their structure, practical approach, and artifacts (templates/frameworks from different specialists).

I think you covered almost all successful strategies. 😊
From my side, I'd like to add that it is essentially to implement the 'Failure is an option' or 'Fail fast, fail often' mindset to be disruptive and innovative. In this case, you could implement:

Another idea that came to my mind is to use cognitive biases. This is very powerful in some cases, of course, if you use them ethically. For example, the framing effect. What do you think generally about cognitive biases in marketing?

Thanks for bringing up this topic 🙂 You mentioned a list of good ideas.
From my side, I'd like to highlight another essential factor that should be considered first: the goal (or value) of a post. What impact should it have on the reader? What emotions or actions do you want to evoke during or after they read the post?
By considering a clear goal for your future post, you can then easily...
