How do we grow from here. Does spending money on paid marketing work for SaaS early stage?
Hello SaaS Founders,
What is your best customer acquisition channel from where you get the most number of leads/customers?
Has paid marketing worked for you initially? If yes, what are some ways to test whether a paid channel is working or not?
What SaaS marketplaces are you listed on (if at all), and which one do you like the most?
Any other advice on best practices or something that...

But Thursday is super awesome!

Why decline? I don't see a harm in adding most of the connection requests i get.
You never know when/who might be helpful during our startup journey.

We got an inbound query on LinkedIn from the founder of another startup. He wanted to use our platform for something we had not even thought of.
Finalized commercials on the first call.
But this was after months of no paid customers.
How did you acquire your first paid customer and what did you learn from it?

Rejection, failure is difficult to process, but they are not forever. I've been rejected a tonne and I've had more failures than I can recall.
The way i look at it is this - while building a company (or anything for that matter), it is a given that there will be ups and downs - wins and failures.
I imagine the 'feeling' of 'win' or 'failure' to be cars driving on a highway and i imagine...

We are currently in the process of completely overhauling our website. So facing this these days. Will you review our new design? Might give you some idea about where we are struggling. Also i'll get your feedback.

Boiling down our value prop into an attractive copy was a challenge. Finding the right graphics that go along with the copy/message also took time.

Hi Arvid, my question is - at what point should one monetise SaaS. We are building a product that users seem to love. We have kept it freemium at this point. Should we focus on acquiring more and more users or should we focus on building for the users who are already paying/or willing to pay.
I built and sold a successful SaaS, published two books, and help founders help themselves. AMA 👇

After a few of them, one develops internal mechanism to cope. The only way to get past rejections is to face them head-on and keep your head high and understand that you are one step closer to a yes. Every successful person has faced rejection at one point or the other. All of us are ducks that look calm on the surface but paddling furiously inside the water. It's a part of the game.
How do you cope with the fear of rejection?
