I imagine ElevenLabs has a ton of control and security measures around voice cloning, but with open source models popping up every day, do you think we'll see a proliferation of audio deep fakes? Are we already there? Is there a way to fight this or is this just something the future will hold regardless of what we do?

This is a cool Cursor use case. How do you share the docs you create with your team? Are you syncing to some other public-facing product? If so, can you share how?

Using ElevenLabs feels like magic. It's phenomenal and deserves all of the attention it gets. It seems like it would take momentous engineering not only for the actual tech, but also to build for this scale so quickly. What was the hardest technical challenge in building out the platform? Did you ever think it wasn't going to be possible? Any good stories around the technical feats that were...

@Cal.com has a more generous free plan, is open-source, and is bootstrapped. Those 3 make it my pick!

Awesome demo. It feels like they did some cool stuff around making a voice sound less "perfect" which makes it sound more human. They might also start sending pieces of our audio before we stop talking so the robot can answer in a natural sounding timeline. The earlier voice chat demos had that awkward pause after we stopped talking that gave them away. Imagine this in a few years!

To my knowledge, @Granola and @Krisp are the two that don't join the meeting and record and transcribe directly from your computer's audio.
What is the best AI notetaking tool that doesn’t actually “join” the call?Â

If you use @Plaid to link accounts, do you actually store sensitive financial data or is it just a list of transactions? If it's just transactions, is there a need to implement RLS or something beyond encryption-at-rest and encryption-in-transit?
How do you isolate customer specific data?

I have a different take on this. Most acquirers are deciding between buy vs build. The main reasons they choose buy is:The cost to build is too high or presents too many unknowns (execution, strategic, etc.)The product they're eyeing has a strategic, fast-growing, and/or otherwise attractive distribution moatSaid another way- the higher the price you get for something is about how much of a...

Is it fair to say that your main lessons were:Avoid building a business around temporary pain pointsMake sure TAM calculations reflect real market opportunitiesUnderstand that "good enough" solutions (like Wise) can be your biggest competitorsIs that right? Also- do you think there are still viable opportunities in consumer-facing neobanks, or has the market consolidated too much? Which areas...

Can you say more about what you're building? It seems like modern wisdom is that "free plan = bad" but I tend to disagree in most cases. Having a huge cohort of users that have accounts but have not converted to paid is a strength as long as you send all of your product updates, newsletters, etc. to them. If you're selling a b2c subscription, I think it's more powerful to have a huge list of...

Bolt is amazing. If nothing changed, it would still be a huge achievement. But with $100M raised and going up against Lovable, Replit and the AI IDEs, you must have a really cool vision for where all of this goes that's unique to Bolt. Can you share that vision and what this category might look like in 1, 3, or 5 years? Everyone has so much cash and is so good at making product- it's going to...

I'm old school in that I still use @Adobe Photoshop . But for anything new where I need a logo quick and easy I generally use@Brandmark . For day to day designing, I'm mostly in @Balsamiq Cloud which is then handed off to a real graphics person to make it pretty in Figma.

Yapz being free is certainly a plus but I'm with you, it's weird that they don't show you the transcript. It also feels like it's way too early to send to real customers (product feels quite sparse). For other audio survey tools, check out:@Voiceform / Voiceform - $79/month and also has video options. @Phonic [beta] / Phonic - Looks like this is being discontinued but is free until June of 2025....
Can anyone recommend an AI audio survey tool?
