What I believe is general education is important as it teaches you the basic tools needed to survive. It teaches you how to think, approach problems and come up with resolutions. This can be applied to various areas in your life.

I’m a technical founder and I’ve been trying to learn B2B sales the past year. I’m seeing a lot conversion in cold outreach through email and LinkedIn but I think there’s a lot of room for me to improve. I would love to learn from you!

I'm really trying not to be reactionary or overly enthusiastic, but this actually feels better than GPT 4o. The one thing it seems to do so much better than 4o right now is actually reason through the problem. I find that in coding, 4o tends to have a "let's just throw some stuff at the wall until it works" kind of strategy, whereas it seems like Claude 3.5 Sonnet is actually being methodical...
Claude 3.5 Sonnet is out. Are you more team Claude or Team ChatGPT? and why ?

Making a pivot like that is truly challenging. I've seen many startups fail after changing their pricing model in this way. I'm glad to hear it worked out for you!
What's the most impactful pivot you've made in your startup?

To be honest, what I usually see in UI/UX designs these days are lot of "fluff". There will be a lot of animations and effects, which are indeed cool, but in terms of functionality, it has no purpose other than to get your attention.
I'm starting to embrace minimal design that's both functional and looks good. Finding that balance comes with trial and error but it's worth it. I take a lot of...

A/B testing doesn’t have to be complex and you can benefit from it a lot, even if you’re a smaller SaaS.
I mostly do A/B testing to see how user behavior and conversion differs from different layouts, CTA’s and sections
Anyone doing A/B testing with their own SaaS?

How exactly is your product country-based? If your product is tied down to the culture and or specific problems of people in a country, then it would make more sense to target them.
But if it's a problem more widespread problem, that isn't dependent on the boundaries of a country, then it would be worth launching it here.
Thinking about potential investors, and other variables is often...

For e-commerce leads, I use a tool called Storeleads. They provide a high-quality and extensive list of B2B e-commerce brands, which can be filtered by platform (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, Squarespace) and other metrics.
For lead generation, I would use Apollo for anything else. They have a more general list with leads from a lot of sectors and niches, so I would recommend you use...

"Just ship it" kinda works, but what I find is you're gonna build 100 apps and out of that, 5 to 10 get successful. I find that wastes time a lot!
What I do instead is listen out to people complaining about a feature (or lack thereof) in a forum or discussion. If it's a problem that frustrates people frequently, then I would ask two questions:
1. "Can I build a tool to solve this problem?"
2....

You got my support 👍
At first, I thought this tool was to conduct market analysis for new ideas, but this tool takes content from your landing page and does a SWOT and comprehensive analysis of your product. It helped me realise how my product is being perceived by new users when they read content from my landing page.
Finally, Askpot is Live at product hunt with super cool new features, check it out ;)

setting a reminder is what I do too, but I find it too distracting to have PH tabs open. I found myself peeking in every hour when I first joined here and had some tabs open.

Who else watched WWDC 24?
I'm excited about all the software updates that are announced by Apple. Some of them are long overdue (like the iPad calculator app and customization of app layout on iPhone).
The most exciting announcement of this year's WWDC is the advent of "Apple Intelligence" or AI for short :). It's gonna leverage the powerful SoCs of Mac, iPad and iPhones for on-device AI capabilities. Here are some of...

Thanks for sharing these insights Istiak! I would also like to add a point that showing that there’s someone behind the product launch adds a personal touch that’s often missing in a lot of PH launches. It makes it easier to go support a launch 🚀

Webflow and Squarespace are the best no-code tools I've come across for building websites. Webflow is basically a visual code editor while Squarespace is a LEGO for websites.
Webflow is better suited to building saas products whereas Squarespace is good for building a landing page or e-commerce website
