What's the most interesting pricing you've seen for collaborative tools?
I've been studying collaborative tools (mainly productivity tools) pricing and business models. The great majority of them are per user/member, which I think can be a barrier for scaling to the buyer.
Before the buyer even uses the product and get value from it, she/he is confronted with its cost and onboarding a new user will always bring the thought "shall we/we have to buy another seat" and...

I've used Faden for some months now and it has replaced a least 4 tools that I was using for journalling, taking notes, planning my day, and writing down my tasks (including paper, which I thought belonged to an entirely different category).
What I love about it:
- I start everyday with a blank page that hosts my first thoughts and goals for the day. I don't need to create any new note or...

I have been part of the remote.clan and remote.tools communities for some time and I can only recommend Hrishikesh's projects on anything remote. The newsletter's content has always been done with quality and heart in mind.
Thanks for that Hrishikesh and keep on the amazing work!

Hello Makers π¨π§βπ¨
How are your remote workshops going? Retrospectives, Sprint Planning, Brainstorming, Design sprints etc...? How do they integrate with your everyday workflow and work?
We've been dogfooding with our own tool, Excelway, and it got for us a lot better. Until then, we :
βπβ were using many tools (Kanban boards, meeting notes, whiteboards) at once and rising our SaaS budget...

Hello Makers!
Today I'm making Excelway's signup form public on https://excelway.co πͺπͺπͺ
We created it because we (and our budget) got tired of using so many tools for managing our work : our meetings, our projects and our docs. Partly a multiplayer brainstorming/workshop tool, partly a project management tool, Excelway allows us to have everything in one place, all neatly structured π
The...

I used to use the Apple Notes app but I transitioned recently to https://www.faden.cloud/. It has just all the features I need for taking notes, journalling, writing down my tasks for the day or my shopping list. Even if it is minimalistic, it never get messy and I can find back anything I'm looking for :)
Makers, where do you scribble?

Hello Community π
As a remote team, we used to use tons of different productivity tools to manage meetings outputs, projects and documents. Not only did it make our SaaS bill ridiculously high, but it was also a pain to transfer data and processes from one tool to the other.
We started https://www.excelway.co as a multiplayer serious game and slowly built around it everything a remote team...

Hi PH Community and thanks @aaronoleary for the thread!
We've been working on https://excelway.co, a single place for your team to have its meetings and workshops and manage projects.
As a remote team working with agile methodologies we used to use many tools to 1) manage our backlog, 2) facilitate our retros, 3) facilitate other workshops types (design sprint, problem solving, sprint...

Thanks for the link! I guess that's the one that I couldn't access earlier today on the website (but they all seem to work now). It's surpising to see that when we click on the links on the landing page, we get a blog styled page. I think I was more expecting a "features" page with screenshots.
I really like the branding and universe you created there with helpful content! I'm also in the...

Hi Navigator team! Congrats on the launch!
I must say I'm a fan of your video teaser. it's funny, to the point, and makes the tool attractive. However, it took me some time to understand how Navigator works and how it's different from a google calendar event. Your second video "how it works" on your website made it a bit clearer and I can see the value in having distinguishable agenda items...

Hello makers!
I'm Sophia, founder of https://excelway.co
I created Excelway for distributed teams to run interactive meetings and workshops in the smoothest way possible. Whether they are running a design sprint, a retrospective, a brainstorming or almost any kind of workshop, distributed teams can rely on a single tool that won't demand any design skills and will help them involve everyone...

Hi @kush! how do your current users use LightCat? Daily as their main tool for product management? Or are they still continuing to use their trello/jira and are thinking "I'd try LightCat sometimes, it could be better"?
Where is your Product stuck? We can help each other.

I've been using screenflow (desktop app for mac) for animated demos/ teasers, as well as tutorials. Although there has been some learning curve and minor bugs, I've found it extremely powerful for creating with freedom and tweaking things with precision. Their tutorial videos and webinars are also very helpful to get you started relatively fast. I first hesitated between Camtasia and Screenflow...

At what stage of the development are you? If you already "developed enough" (and this enough is in reality much lower than we expect), I'd say, launch it and test your idea with what you have. This might be as well all the research you need : putting whatever you have in the hands of users and learn from them.
