We did! Google Ads. We got really good metrics on the ads but unsure if some of the traffic was coming from "click farms", because we had an unusual amount of clicks come from India & Pakistan compared to the rest of the world. This is our first time running google ads, and we don't really know what we're doing, haha

Today we launched Model Muse, which makes virtual fashion models, and so leading up to this I've spent the last several months at the forefront of AI generated photo-realistic images of people.
I've now realized that "Seeing is believing" is most definitely not reliable anymore. The models have gotten scary good.

Swimming!! There is nothing better for me personally to clear my mind than getting into the flow lap swimming back & forth. With water earplugs in, too, so everything is muffled. I focus on my breathing, my form, and counting my laps... I feel 10x less stressed after

I think a few clear boundaries are
1) Copying real people's likeness without their consent. Like those AI generated pics of Taylor Swift that went viral a couple months ago. Not cool.
2) Stealing peoples videos and just face-swapping an AI face. You're still stealing someones body & content. Not cool.
3) Generating graphic AI images of children. Gross.

Bad products kill companies, not bad reviews.
Shipping an MVP that needs work is fine though, as long as it's really clear it's an MVP.
Humane should have done a more beta / MVP launch targeted towards developers first. Iterate more before trying to go mass market.
That said, it's a much bigger challenge to do this for a hardware startup, so I do think we should give Humane AI some slack.
