All four.
Demonstrating value is a mandate.
Building relationships - underrated strategy. many sales could be closed by building strong relationships with prospects, which couldn't have been otherwise.
Using testimonials - if we have, why not?
Offering discounts - Perhaps, the last shot. If nothing above and several follow-ups don't work.

Interesting question. Here are a few of my choices and the reasons behind:
1) Apple: Prestigious and innovative. Love their marketing works.
2) Google: The free value they have provided to the world is immense.
3) Marvel Studios: Came up with the greatest cinematic universe.
4) Nothing: Challenging the status quo by being underdogs and creative.
5) Tata Groups: Changed India's trajectory more...

we use chatbots. it's pretty effective especially if it's a combination of automation and manual intervention.

We just give it an hour or so every week or fortnight. This helps us in staying updated while not spending too much time in tracking competitors. No secret sauce, you know.
How do you keep track of competitor activity without spending too much time?

Launching on the perfect day. Unfortunately, I still do not have the answer for this as we won't most likely know who is releasing when. If a bigger product launches on the same day as yours, you know you are done.

I like scale. $10K MRR would do for me. The smallest 5-digit number which will put the ARR way past $1M.
What's the smallest amount of MRR that made you feel like 'this is actually working'?

Launching tomorrow as a solo marketer 👋
Hey PH community 👋
Tomorrow’s the big day for us, and here I am, prepping to launch Wylo 3.0 as a solo marketer – again.
Having done this once before, I thought it'd be easier this time around, but honestly, it's still as challenging (maybe even more). From strategizing to writing every single piece of content to managing countless other tasks – it’s been nothing short of one long...

Let’s forget the number of upvotes, comments, or even the ranking. What are your favorite Product hunt launches in recent times? And why? I would love to see some great and underrated launches!

keep them engaged as you build. almost on a weekly basis. catch up on long calls if need be. understand their problems, thoughts, and suggestions better. keep sharing updates based on their feedback. they'll slowly incline towards what you do and eventually start rooting for you.

Flexibility - the ability to choose home or office as one wants - gives the advantages of both and is better than strictly hybrid.

A few things that one can expect from a PH launch:
1) Good exposure (hundreds of people will get to know about your product if not thousands)
2) Free-trial sign-ups (if you have a freemium product, could be in double digits to a few hundreds at the max)
3) Conversions (if your target audience are in PH, conversions could easily happen in double digits)
These are from my experiences and...

Letting people understand the proposition of the product. You know, it's hard to convey the message without complicating or sounding boring.

How did you get your first 10-100 customers? 👀
Hey PH community 👋🏽 almost everyone talks about getting the first 10 customers. But it's slightly easier if you ask me as we can into our existing network. What's comparably harder is getting that first 10-100 customers. So how did you acquire your first 10-100 customers? Would love to know.
