Well, it wasn't an overnight thing. Saw potential in my side project, it started making some money. The 9-to-5 was stifling my growth, couldn't give the startup the time it deserved. Plus, had some runway saved up, enough to survive a few dry months. Left when it felt like my day job was the side gig.
