There’s a difference between moving quickly and rushing. You should move quickly to text a concept, start conversations with your potential users, pitch, etc. that said, rushing just means you haven’t put the effort in before going out and testing. Do the work, take it seriously, just accelerate your pace. Avoid shortcuts.

Failure hurts more deeply than I expected. And each time, it still hurts. A lot is lost in not seeing people's body language. Also, when you aren't around people seeing their mannerisms and reactions to mundane things, it's hard to gauge how they're reacting to you and what that reaction really means. It makes team retreats so important.

I really like what the team at SNKRHUD are doing. Also Trove Collective and Foodom. I'm kind of all over the place here.

Most effective for us is just asking users directly. Most want to help and like giving feedback if they understand why you need it.
