I’m a little past the idea phase now on my current startup, but couldn’t resist checking this out given I’m an ideation fiend. Really digging the thought provoking “homework” portion of the program so far.

So to be clear before answering, i think your idea is great. Quit trying to sell it and just keep working on it! If there's legal gray area, you're likely exploring an idea or space that is ripe for a startup, not an incumbent to win.
