Brendan Hufford in his recent newsletter shared an interesting idea for generating content ideas.
He has stated that we should talk to 30 ideal customers and ask them the following questions:
1. When did you first realize you needed something to solve [problem}?
2. What were you trying to do when this happened?
3. When did you realize the old way wasn’t working?
4. When were you forced to...
How do you generate content ideas? 👀

Social media are just a channel to reach your target audience. Same as search engines or podcasts.
Social media as a channel don't make that things work. You make things work.
Majority of people aren't in-market for your solution, but if you are able to build your brand awareness among your target audience and gain credibility, and you will be circling back to them once in a while using...

Ask them questions about a hypothetical situation. How would they handle it, and what would they do step by step. That will give you more info rather than just hearing from them telling that they're experienced with X or Y.

Does cold mailing still works for you?
If yes, which strategy do you execute?

I believe all the social media platforms now offers some built-in post scheduling, so at the beginning there's no need to subscribe to a paid tool.
Personally, I believe it makes more sense to focus on one platform, rather than just reposting the same content on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.

We build a software platform for internal use at WPKraken. Customers were delighted with the customer experience that the platform has provided for them. They started asking what kind of solution is this, and if they could have one for their own business.

Because having a community makes you less dependent on reach you have on social media. If you have your own space on Discord, Mailing list or Discourse you don't need to worry that much what happens if Meta / Twitter / LinkedIn change their algorithm.

Our app puts an emphasis on client communication, with chat put on the forefront of the app, while our competitors tend to focus more on documents and work orders, where communication is handled as comments or tickets to orders.
Also, what our clients are mentioning is that Zendo (https://getzendo.io/) has the best UI & UX in its category.

I have a completely opposite opinion than the majority in the comments. Distribution won't make you successful if your product doesn't have the market-fit.
You can send 10000+ cold emails. You can pitch 1000+ people via LinkedIn. You can spend $10000+ dollars on ads, and if your product isn't solving the users' pain, the distribution won't help with acquiring paid users.
;-)
What matters more? The product itself OR the distribution of the product?
