I was looking at Chatbase (.co). They were good for what I need i.e a trained chatbot and fully customizable, no code solution. Ideal really.
Nothing to do with them but I was researching for a project. I will likely go with them

How do Resellers get on with Product Hunters ?
I recently signed up for GoDaddy's Reseller program and it was an utter mess with WP Plugins and God knows what else. Anyway, to cut a long story short I was granted a refund.
But the idea was still solid: That is reselling Domains and Mailboxes only and marketing it towards cold emailers and marketing professionals..
I signed up for GoDaddy to access their better prices just for myself and...

Wth leadagency.ai (SaaS) been testing a few methods and think we'll settle on one. Costs are manageable (subject to more testing).
I may have attracted some private investment just a small amount but first thing I want to do is make it water-tight. This means our servers will go "offshore" because although we aren't doing anything bad or unlawful I prefer not to risk disruption with a UK host...

Is scraping frowned upon?
I'm in this niche and will be looking to launch something interesting in the near future.
I'm encouraged by the success of Telescope and Apify/Crawlee esp. on here.

If I'm half that successful I'll be over the moon 😂
So what do you think? Is scraping public data frowned upon or seen as a grey area?
I'd love to know so I don't annoy you guys.

I'm still working out costs but I think like anything we can drive them down with scale especially if I get PH community on board! 🥳

I've been indie hacking for a while but never come here for whatever reason.
Never felt quite that confident enough but that could soon change with leadagency.ai (don't bother going there it's just parked for now).
Can't go into much details but I intend it to be a SaaS finding leads for businesses. The clue is in the name I guess and yes, hopefully will incorporate AI....
