With a record in building four successful enterprise security companies over the past two decades, Friedrichs served as Founder and CEO @ Phantom (acquired by Splunk), Founder and CEO @ Immunet (acquired by Sourcefire/Cisco), Co-founder @ SecurityFocus (acquired by Symantec), and Co-founder @ Secure Networks, acquired by McAfee. He attended the University of Manitoba and is the co-author of three security books and a recipient of 40 patents in the cybersecurity space.
