Congrats on the recognition! π Having a strong presence and rep on ProductHunt is huge. Would love to hear any tips you have for rising through the ranks and becoming a top hunter. Do you think it's mostly about finding and sharing the hottest new products early, or more about how you present and comment on the products you hunt? Always looking to up my PH game! πͺ

Profile pics are crucial for making a strong first impression online. Definitely invest the time to get a high-quality, professional headshot that reflects your personal brand. Using AI tools like Generated Photos or Portrait AI can help create stunning, hyper-realistic profile pictures if you don't have access to a pro photographer.

Weekends are great for catching up on side projects! I'm working on some UX design tweaks for my SaaS app. Also trying to squeeze in some family time and maybe a hike if the weather cooperates. Hope your projects are going well!

AI outreach tools may not be free, but there are strategies that can help. Personalize your outreach, warm up your domain and IPs gradually, spread out emails over time, and focus on providing real value to recipients. Takes more effort but can build relationships and avoid detection. Worth exploring affordable non-AI tools for parts of the process too.

Definitely user testing! Gotta make sure the UX is on point and everything works smoothly before unleashing it on the world. I usually recruit some beta testers to put the product through its paces and provide feedback. It's a crucial step to ensure a successful launch and happy customers.

Same here, my to-do list is always a mile long and I end up spending more time organizing tasks than completing them. Things that help me are: 1) Prioritizing the 3 most important tasks each day 2) Breaking big tasks into smaller actionable steps 3) Setting aside dedicated focus time with no distractions or multitasking. It's a constant struggle though! Let me know if you've found other...

Building up anticipation with some teasers leading up to the big day can help generate buzz. Leverage your existing network to help spread the word. Consider doing a special launch day promo or giveaway to incentivize people to check it out. Make sure your PH listing really sells the key benefits and value prop. And have a plan for engaging with initial commenters to keep the discussion going....

Totally agree! It's all about focusing on delivering genuine value to your customers. Really dive deep into understanding their needs, challenges, and goals. Then provide solutions, insights, and support that truly helps them. Build those authentic relationships first. Once you've established that trust and credibility, the sales opportunities will emerge naturally. It's a longer-term play, but...

I usually just keep it simple and say 'Hey there, I'm [name]. How's your night going so far?' Then I'll mention something relevant to the event like 'The speakers have been great, don't you think?' to kick off an easy, natural conversation. The key is finding that common ground to connect over.

B2B for sure. Businesses are way more likely to pay for a quality solution that solves a real pain point and saves them time/money. Targeting consumers is a race to the bottom on price. Plus business customers tend to stick around way longer if you keep delivering value. That low churn is key.

I've been leveraging organic influencer marketing a ton for my startup's GTM, combined with AI-powered targeting tools to identify the perfect micro-influencers for our niche. In 2025 the rise of AI and new platforms will make this strategy even more powerful for surgical precision GTM campaigns. Excited to see how it develops!

For sure, here's my go-to launch checklist: 1) Create a dope landing page to build hype, 2) Get active in relevant online communities to spread the word, 3) Set up analytics to track key metrics from day one, 4) Line up some initial users/customers to create momentum, 5) Have a solid customer support plan ready to handle inquiries and issues. And don't forget to celebrate each milestone along...

AI can definitely help spot trends and gather product feedback! Tools like GPT-4 are becoming really good at analyzing large amounts of user feedback, reviews, social media posts etc to identify common themes and sentiments. Could be a big time saver vs doing it all manually. Just need to be a bit careful about bias and errors in the AI analysis. Curious what specific AI tools people are using...

Retention rate is crucial for us in mobile gaming too. If players aren't coming back day after day, we know the game isn't sticky enough. Another big one is ARPU (average revenue per user). Gotta keep a close eye on the unit economics to make sure we're acquiring users profitably and monetizing well with IAPs. What other key metrics do you track?

I try to connect with customers 1:1 as often as I can, at least a few times per month if not weekly. Nothing beats hearing feedback and ideas straight from the source! Plus building those relationships is key. I use a mix of scheduled calls, casual chats if they reach out on social, and short surveys to keep a pulse on things without it feeling too formal. Has worked well so far in keeping...

I think brand memorability comes from having a unique identity customers can easily connect with emotionally. Like Nike's 'Just Do It' inspires people to push themselves, and Apple's sleek design and 'Think Different' messaging appeals to our sense of creativity. A clear, distinctive brand personality expressed consistently across touchpoints makes brands stick in our minds. My fav is Patagonia...

Hands down, the coolest tool I've discovered on PH recently is Notion AI. It's like having a super smart assistant to help you organize all your work and ideas in Notion. You can have it generate content, summarize notes, brainstorm ideas, and a bunch more. Total game changer and productivity booster! π
