Nevertheless, It's very easy to get caught up in the hype and pressure of Product Hunt, but it's important to remember that it's just a platform, not a life necessity. It's okay to take breaks and not stress about missing a day or two.

I'll vouch for building on Twitter any day!
If you start posting consistently and create content that delivers value to the end user, the engagements on the posts skyrocket and so does your traffic to the website provided you add relevant links. I would 100% recommend building your audience on twitter :)

Correct me if I'm wrong but, being open to feedback even on the core idea of your product takes a lot of guts and I feel people who have mastered this will know and understand user concerns better as they listen to other opinions and also address them.
