This is another really interesting play at a decentralized social network. With the ethical questions arising around how communities in the US political spectrum are using these products, it’s a joy to see this team talk about openly the Scuttlebutt protocol and allude to their values as a backbone. This kind of transparency and tone is at least a reprieve from that.

Despite privacy concerns, this is going to be *big* particularly when they integrate it with WhatsApp and Instagram. We’ve already seen how big Instagram shopping is, I think we’ll see an even bigger impact when Facebook unifies payments across all 3 platforms.

Hi Amit. This is a fantastic idea. Google App scripts can be super powerful! I recently was playing around with Google App scripts and the workflow was painful. I was constantly developing in my local IDE and copying+pasting to the cloud IDE and it was very slow. This would have really sped up development and allowed me to write in modern JavaScript.
