There are limitations around the effectiveness of long brainstorming discussions, & team communication.
Additionally, depending upon the company & the specific employee, there could also be trust issues around quality of work.

Investors as Advisors for your Startup [Please don't take names, We don't wanna get sued ;)]
How did they help your startup and how did their experience make them very useful as advisors? Could you not have gotten that advice from people outside the VC industry?

I think different industries have different amount of success with the same. For a UGC/Social/Gaming platform, viral/controversial/unusual content typically works well, but that may not yield such great results for a consumer goods or a marketplace/Pay-as-you-go product, as they should only be interested in users who end up spending money. The product has to solve problems, and amplifying the...

It could be:
- A large and passionate community (offline/online)
- Network Effects & Personalisation
- Tons of Funding/Track record of huge achievements in a highly relevant field
- Exclusive partnerships that others can't get access to
The list goes on, but unfair advantage should be something which very few can imitate and gives you a nice head start over your competition.

Many won't survive as often PH upvotes/comments are jacked up by FnF support, which is super good in short-term, but leads to lesser critical feedback for the long term.
I think the PH database can be verified with the Product graveyard db to make these markings.

Unfortunately many end up getting fired by their boards, so usually the founder is not the CEO for a larger, late stages of the company.
Some factors that could come in the way would be - Adherence to the original vision, execution lags, high empathy for team retention independent of future skill-fit, and inability to open slots for great execs to come and lead the show can prevent founders...

No I don't think they would be bad in all cases, but that depends on the stage of the Startup and how well staffed it is. For a <10 person startup, everyone is hustling and donning multiple hats all the time and it will be surprising for a Founding team member to have a dedicated side hustle.
For a late stage company with over 100 employees, those kind of things are relatively easier to...

Completely depends on the product and the immediate preceding step. If you market it to the right audience with proper onboarding, then something as high as 25% is possible, otherwise usually under 10% as companies are broad with their user acquisition and don't pay sufficient attention to onboarding.

I would lean towards faster shipping, but in certain cases high quality code/perfect product might be more appropriate (Cars, Medicines, Vaccines, Elitist products etc etc)
Should startups write good quality code or just worry about delivering the product asap?
