I see little header banner at the top of their site (playlumi.com, not the normal Roli site) that says pre-orders Oct 1. (Was supposed to be yesterday but apparently that didn't quite pan out...)

Cool - needs more cargo bike options, though! (No disrespect to the Rad Wagon, just far from the only option.)

Good idea, serving a universal-yet-somehow-niche-seeming need. I envy all the fun bits of cultural variation you'll get to learn about growing this! Case in point - I could send this to my parents (colonized Anglosphere) and actually have a serious conversation, though probably not until after a few drinks. If I sent it to my (Sinosphere) in-laws, I couldn't begin to guess how long it would...

Just reading this has me replaying "declined" nightmares over and over in my head. Heart rate? Spiked. Right eye? Twitching intermittently.

Looks like something with real potential to motivate - hope you make the GBP 2,000,000 stretch, because everyone needs a little leg day action.
(Silliness aside, ?makers, should the leg stuff materialize, likely a separate purchase on top of whatever backer reward level one chipped in at?)

Good idea, and a big fan of keeping things local. Try as I might, though, I've only been able to get it to extract text- and image-typed cutouts - what does one have to highlight and context/right-click to get it to snag a video element?
Could also see manually classifying into collections getting a bit tedious - maybe remember an "active" collection and drop things in there by default? (Or...

Interesting approach - I can definitely see the value in drawing the words from source material of use/interest to the learner rather than spending forever on the generic sample sentences courses "for everyone" start you with. Could probably use a brief overview/tutorial for the workflow - is there any facility for exercising/demonstrating that you know something, or just self-certifying by...

Cool - looks like it *ought* to fit on with headphones and, say, Nreal glasses for that all-in gargoyle experience. Is there any local data delivery, or is everything hoisted out to cloudland and then back down to a users (other) devices?

Neat concept, perfect for a Friday. I'll have to come back with a few people I know to really get a feel for it. (Turns out even at a virtual party, I'm the sort to just stand in the garden and chat up the gnome.)

Quite a lot of fun, and great way to inject learning into the day without, say, a nagging green modern theropod getting involved.
I did have a bit of trouble on the very first page I tried (BBC News homepage, where words were selected and highlighted, but I could not interact with them) but has otherwise "played nicely". One consideration for the density slider - perhaps have it seize on...
