Customer support for side app
I want to provide a facility for basic bug reporting and feature requests and maybe even just basic questions, for our extension which is VERY early stage. Something like Zendesk seems too heavyweight
What recommendations does the community have?

This is really great! You should write up a post about how you approached it and were able to do it in only 48 hours! great work!

I wrote this to solve my growing frustration with dealing with having so many open tabs!
Workspace Manager
A Chrome extension to take control of endless open tabs!
A simple and effective Chrome Extension for Tab Management. Workspace Manager allows you to save a set of tabs as a 'workspace' and reopen them again later. Create different Workspaces for different purposes such as a school project or a recurring activity

any meeting that is an outward bound update can be reduced but email itself may be the wrong option. Any meeting that requires discussion should not be on email either as that increases the load on everyone to monitor the threads and spliced conversations. There are better alternatives to meetings than email such as slack, or other group forums.
This meeting should be an email

It really depends upon what your product is. If the technology itself is the differentiator, then yes, you likely need to be fairly proficient.

There is nothing that will beat speaking to your potential customers directly to discover their needs. You may have a hypothesis of what you want based on your own needs, but you should conduct some research with users to validate.

What cloud based DBs have others used
I have used Firebase and MongoDB with mixed thoughts on if I want to continue using them for our new project. We want our extension to be able to sync to backend DB and looking at Cloudant. I'm curious on what other have used and their experiences.

Best hosting suggestions
I have a couple different domain names. I have a couple self hosted ones on go daddy and google (for gsuite) and have one on AWS which has a ton of flexibility but feels overwhelming sometimes.
What set ups do others have for their business? I don't need much more than an basic landing page with product and company info initially.
Thoughts?

What factors did you consider when choosing a domain host
I currently have a couple domains on standard ones like godaddy and google (for gsuite) and also have one on AWS. I'm finding pros/cons with both approaches and it differs depending upon the nature of the domain (blog vs company, etc).
I'm curious to know what factors others use to decide where to host.

A couple things worked for me. 1) I create short time boxed windows for doing work. Even 15 min is enough. Then 2) create specific tasks to do the things you use for procrastinating and time box them too. E.g. '20 facebook/instagram surfing'. '15 min bathroom cleanup' -- I tend to 'clean' my apartment whenever i procrastinate! so I basically let myself oscillate between time boxed activities of...

If your old one doesn't have a strong following that matches the one you want, I would suggest to create a new one. Think through the overall brand and image you want the new one to have and then start following and engaging with people in the same areas. Set out to add value and learn vs setting out to create a following. The followers will come.

Do you recommend to have separate names for your product and your company?
Is your answer different if you have a single product vs multiple products?
