Most early-stage startups don't do enough marketing. They spend too much time building and not enough putting their idea, value proposition, messaging, mvp in front of people to:
- figure out if it resonnates
- get short feedback loops
- get great ideas from the market
I agree with @ahmed_mobin, Done well, marketing/sales is where you need to spend most of your time.

I use Descript. Since they acquired Squadcast, they offer the whole deal.
Recording, editing, mastering, repurposing, publishing.
I'm a big fan.

I have automated pretty much all the interview preparation. The editing is the most time consuming. I tried to outsource it, but ended up doing it myself.
But my guest invite, management, and interview prep is top notch :) Fully automated so I can focus on the important.

I'm a big fan of James Clear's Atomic Habits.
You need to start building the habit of marketing.
- So pick one activity that you will do everyday. It's should be super simple.
- Pick a channel. It doesn't really matter which one. You're initial good is to develop the marketing habit, not get it perfectly.
For instance.
- Find a channel that works with your target audience.
- Write x...

PDF works, but I'm starting to move towards using Notion and Loom videos as lead magnets. It's more engaging that just a lead magnet.
What app do you use to build your lead magnets?

I would argue that, as an entrepreneur, you need a combination of Notion and Zapier.
Notion gives you:
- Projects, tasks, sprints
- Meeting minutes
- Playbook
- Knowledge base
You add an AI/automation tool like Zapier to the mix to automate like there's no tomorrow :)

The secret that really changed how I work is prioritization. I use to spend a lot of time working on efficiency and trying to do more. Setting up todo list and complicated notification systems.
The truth is, only a few activities/tasks move the needle. So you need to be clear on what these are. And that means saying no to a lot of other stuff.
As James Clear wrote, “In the long-run,...

Hi,
There's a lot of hype around it now, but it's not a temporary trend. This is the future of business and of our lives.
Yes, you should start thinking about integrate AI features in your product. But integrating AI shouldn't be the end game.
Solving a real problem for your customers is the end game. AI becomes an enabler. As @mike_rsmith mentioned, use AI to improve the product:...
AI became the norm. Should we consider applying it to our product?

Do you plan to integrate AI-generated content capabilities into your product? If yes, how?
There are lots of talks about what's coming out of OpenAI these days. AI-generated images, text, and music. I have personally experimented with DALL·E 2 and ChatGPT recently, and have been quite impressed.
Do you plan or see any near-term opportunity to integrate those capabilities into your existing or future product?
If yes, please share some examples.

Really nice idea. Another high-potential area would be to go beyond just product teams/squads and find a way to bring in feedback/data that comes from Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. They get feedback daily. Bringing user research from the P&E side together with customer facing teams would be powerful.
Maybe a CRM integration could be worth evaluating.
Great job!

This is great. You really figured out a way to bring the space back into remote work and the unexpected bumping into others you don't necessarily work with everyday. This is great for larger startups/scaleups with a few 100 employees. Great work!

Raghav, I tend to agree with @daniel_kyne here, but I would add that "doing" pays off overtime. In the end, you'll learn more by experimenting with various ideas than getting stuck for two years in analysis paralysis. I believe Tim Ferriss suggested that when you pick an idea/project, make sure that even if you fail, it's a project that will allow you to develop new skills.
