I don't think there's a one fit all solution. From my experience, churn mostly comes from :
- low quality product (bug ...)
- under delivering on the promise
- bad acquisition
You need to talk to your customer and analyse how they use your product to identify the best way to reduce churn in your scenario

Interesting, it reminds my of the social media strategy of tl.dv, their instagram is amazing
If I had to think of one "unusual" strategy we used for IndiPen, we recently moved our community to WhatsApp. We had great results 🙂 It's an app people are used to use and they're pretty active on it

That's not always possible at scale, but to me, nothing beats 1 to 1 user's interview. It's a great way to keep building the relationship along with collecting qualitative feedback

I asked the same question a few days ago because I was very surprised about how my launch went
Someone shared this link with me : https://help.producthunt.com/en/...
It's really informative, disappointing, but informative

It really depends on your product. For a SaaS, I highly advocate launching as soon as possible on a very basic MVP but very clear vision, and iterate with your customers
That's what we did for IndiPen, between the idea definition and the first sales, there was something like 25 days (~15 days of customers interview and ~10 days of development). < 4 months after we've reached 1000MRR
It may...

I'm mostly using LinkedIn and WhatsApp 🙂 A few scheduled post on LinkedIn with IndiPen.io and a lot of manual messages to remind people of the launch and ask for support and feedback

What are the criteria to appear in "Top product launching today"
As PH is hiding the votes for the first few hours, I would have thought, for fairness, there would be some kind of rotation so users can discover all products on the home page on the morning before we have the upvote counts.
But it seems like only some products are promoted from the start of the day.
Do you know how PH is choosing which product to promote each day ?

Hi Product Hunt 👋!
At IndiPen, we help entrepreneurs build and execute content strategies based on the pain points of their target audience, all within an all-in-one platform for LinkedIn.
A key element of any strong content strategy is diversification, and that’s where carousels come in.
Carousels are a fantastic way to not only increase reach and engagement on LinkedIn but also to showcase...

Not AI atm, but I've made a tool to make carousel creation easier. We're launching Friday but it's already available if you want to try it 🙂

For indipen.io, we found our first customers on LinkedIn. We optimized our profile to share our value proposition, started creating content around our persona's pain point and reached out to people who interacted.
I think that's a good strategy for most B2B products 🙂
For my other tool, where the persona is not active on social network, I used cold emailing and recommandation from previous...

I think it's important, or at least, if you have a strong community outside of PH, you should invite them to join PH before your launch, which imply that you're also active on PH before your launch
If you wait for launch day for your community to join and upvote, I think it may trigger alert from PH as fake traffic or artificial promotion of your product.

Your #1 advice for a PH launch
Hi 👋 My new app is starting to take off and I'm thinking about launching it on Product Hunt, along with a few related free tools I've build.
There's hundreds of "guides", "how to" and "advices" on the web, maybe even too much.
From your personal experience, what's the #1 advice that helped you prepare a good launch ?

Met my cofounder on LinkedIn 🙂 I just started sharing content about my work, made networking call … and we met like that.
I wasn’t looking for one to begin with, I started alone which allowed me to choose a co founder I really wanted to work with and not someone by default

I tried to manage everything myself for my first company, definitely was a mistake 😅
It takes so much time and can create so much issues if you’re not good at it, now i’m paying an accountant and it’s amazing. I barely think about this anymore

For me it’s somewhere in between
Basically, I know my ICP and main value proposition. That’s what I want to focus on
If a user who’s not my ICP request something, I’ll listen but not necessarily implement it.
If they’re my ICP, I’ll try to discuss with other user’s to see if their pain is shared and deeply understand it
And sometimes I just make some educated bet because I think I’m onto...

Mostly LinkedIn, and Youtube a little to document my journey.
Interesting idea the growth gamification with Favikon Creator ! Congrats for your launch.
I'm also working on a tool for creator, but specifically for LinkedIn : IndiPen. We help creator align their content strategy with their business goal and execute it easily
