So far, 38. I read the 4-hour work week and am glad I can finally say I read it but it was not my favorite book, by far. There are far better business books out there.

If you're having trouble writing it in one go, then try breaking it down. One day, focus on writing the outline. Next day, write a first draft. And a couple of days later, edit + publish. I'm not great at writing everything in one sitting since I need the ideas to marinate for a bit. Just do what works for you!

Unfortunately, fb is good for bringing site traffic since so many people still use it. I mostly only use fb groups & my page nowadays anyway. Most of my creative community hangs out on Instagram so it'd be quite difficult to leave it behind.

I made this post on a whim on Friday and it's gone viral! Or at least in my terms and I love the discussion that it's opened up about making & buying new supplies. :)

What is the one thing that you wish you could do on on instructional website?
When you visit a tutorial website (crafts, diy, recipes, anything that shows you how to make something), what would you like to be able to do that isn't a feature yet?
question heavily inspired by Geniuslink's acquisition (of Kit) email this week :)

I've joined a few coworking spaces and they've been so helpful with meeting new people and just having someone to vent to / brainstorm with. I tend to go to a coworking place 2-3 times a week and I'm most productive on those weeks when I get out of the house.

Work on your business plan even if you're not pitching and it's just for yourself. It really helps narrow down what your main priorities, goals, and plans are for the next 1-5 years. I read the book "The 1-Page Business Plan" and it really helped clear some stuff up. Wish I'd done it earlier!

@abadesi my biggest challenge is knowing how many people will show up. It's hard predicting it based on weather or location.

@ianwdj I am! My website is craftic.com (@crafticland) and it's all about providing projects that users can make with craft materials they already have on hand. It's a more sustainable way to craft & make. :)
