Yo ProductHunters!,
excited and bit nervous about our first product launch on PH.
Adrapid came into existence in order to automate the tedious work of manually producing banners, images and videos in different sizes and aspect ratios. With Adrapid you can also make other changes easily, like replacing a text or a product image. We worked hard to make the app really powerful, packed with...

In the context of entrepreneurship what I regret was starting a business too early. Early in the sense of not having knowledge about things that I today consider basic, such as what is an MVP, how to market your product, how to position your product in the value chain etc. If I was to start all over I would spend at least 6 months just reading all I could about entrepreneurship, business...

I am not sure my advice would be so helpful here but I did it the other way around: having an open source product and then after the product had gained a lot of traction try to build a Saas product around it to monetize it. In my case I provided a "dashboard" that helps the users of my open source library to get better insights in how it is working, and I also provide hosting although this is...

I read this book a year ago https://www.nirandfar.com/indistractable/ Did it work for me? not really, or well, probably it improved the situation a bit but I did not manage to be completely become indistractable, it requires a lot of hard discipline and awareness on when you get distracted so that you can push the distraction away. Still the book is probably the most complete compendium of...

I have learnt that this is actually one of the most common mistakes for early entrepreneurs, i.e. not spending enough time actually doing marketing. When I finally kicked my ass to spend time in marketing activities I found that it takes a long time and perseverance to actually get any results, so it is easy to throw...

I have used it in several products. The nice parts are: great documentation, support and fair pricing. However depending on your jurisdiction, who are your customers (B2B, retail) and where they are located it could be difficult to integrate in order to handle taxes, invoices, etc. There are a lot of other services built on top of stripe to help you handle all these, but when I integrated...

I guess there were a lot of reasons but one I remember clearly was the drive to be my own boss and learn from my own mistakes. I had a good position but was frustrated with decisions made higher up. The only way to prove my ideas were correct without needing to lick some asses to get climb higher in the company's hierarchy was to start my own business. It was one of the best decisions in my...

I would recommend wait. I have bought domains thinking they were awesome only to realize a couple of weeks later that the domain actually sucked. As your idea matures also the naming will do, no rush to buy anything when you are just excited about the next "big" idea you had.
When do you buy the domain?
