Congrats on the launch Lucas. If you’re looking for ways to improve the experience for your users by providing statistics as part of the match making system, perhaps our service can be of some help. It’s called Scout and you can check it out at https://scoutsdk.com — send an email to hello@scoutsdk.com if you’d like to know more. Cheers and good luck!

Here’s a question related to the app itself: most dating apps suffer from a huge gender skew with most users being male. How will your service provide a solution for a user base that is undoubtedly even more heavily skewed into the male demography?

Looks great, but change the name. Atlas is incredibly nonunique. I would know, I named one of my products Atlas, too. You can basically skip all mythology, it’s been done to death. The more obvious choice would be Apollo anyway, since he is the god of music. Something music related but also unique would bode much better for SEO and recall. Examples: Resonator, Attack, Envelop, Tapas (get it?...

Scrolled through some of it, I think my favourite of all the posts I read was the incredibly short sighted statement that browser save dialogues are useless, and then in the next sentence the author also says files downloaded should open automatically; as though they’ve never heard of a virus before.
Unrelated: my ProductHunt app closed the keyboard 5 times unexpectedly while I was writing...

Lot of elitists in here. I use Firefox/Chrome on Mac. Would love to see Edge make its way over. If you’re commenting and haven’t given Edge a try, you’re not doing yourself any favours.
Edge is super fast and reliable, but I don’t use Windows very often so I don’t get to use it. Nice to see it on iOS even if it’s just a wrapper. Shows a big shift for MS.
Gonna say this on every Edge post...

If you love getting completely consumed by the ambiance of a game, then this one’s for you.
I loved turning out the lights and playing this one, it’s creepy, it’s puzzling, it’s gorgeous.
This and LIMBO are my favourite side scrollers of all time (aside from Mario, I suppose.) Playdead makes awesome games.

I love this so much. The world truly needs more altruism at this scale. This is exceptional humility.

Greenwashing crypto currency will only last as long as it isn’t popular. If it’s popular, people will just mine more of it, making it no longer green. It’s like if you make the roads wider, more people drive to work and traffic gets worse. Any short term savings on energy will be negated over time.

This is pretty neat. I love seeing new perspectives on music creation. Modern DAWs provide complexity ad infinitum, which isn’t a bad thing in and of itself, but seeing new ways to introduce people to music creation is always exciting.
One thing I might recommend is improving the music in the demo. “Produce hit songs” is a bold claim and should be backed up with some proof showing something...

Measuring LOC is pretty disappointing. Anyone who has spent any time writing software knows more lines of code isn’t a measure of anything valuable. Wouldn’t be inclined to take your ranking too seriously if lines of code written has any weight.

My favourite font family these days is -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Segoe UI", Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif, "Apple Color Emoji", "Segoe UI Emoji", "Segoe UI Symbol";
