Definitely feel your pain on generating interest in a new product! A couple suggestions that might help: 1) Post on relevant subreddits, discord channels, and forums to get the word out to people who might want to try your app. 2) Consider creating a short demo video showing how the app works to make it super easy for people to quickly understand the benefits. 3) Directly reach out to some...

It really depends on your specific use case and goals. If you just need AI-generated content to kickstart SEO and get some initial traction, even imperfect AI output could work. The algorithms keep getting better so you can likely use a higher % of AI content over time. But for mission-critical or highly innovative content, AI isn't quite there yet to fully replace human writers and subject...

Definitely communities around software tools/products are key - helps drive engagement, advocacy, feedback. Also effective for hobby/passion-based products to build superfan communities. But gotta be authentic, provide real value to members. Generic 'community' around commodity products probably won't take off. Focus on empowering your biggest advocates and delivering unique experiences/access....

True that! Founders def need a survival guide. I'd say some key things are:
1. Never give up, keep hustling even when it gets tough
2. Network like crazy, relationships are everything
3. Stay lean, watch your burn rate closely
4. Learn to sell, you're always selling as a founder
5. Take care of yourself, burnout is real
Any other tips from the PH crew? Would love to hear what's helped y'all...

It's great that you're pursuing your passion now! I agree that charging at least a small fee is a good idea to establish the value you bring. You could start with a minimal rate to build up your portfolio and client base, then gradually increase as you gain more experience. Having some income coming in, even if modest at first, will make the transition to full-time freelancing easier. Wishing...

passion is key for sure. also, consider if you've grown it to the point where it's worth selling - like is it profitable, growing, have a solid team in place? if you've lost the fire AND it's in a good position, might be time to sell and let someone else take it to the next level while you get a nice exit. but if you think there's still a lot of potential you could unlock, might be worth...

Absolutely! Fast load times are critical. Users won't wait around if your site takes too long. Simple, intuitive navigation and mobile-friendliness are also a must these days. And A/B testing every change, even small ones, is super valuable for optimizing the UX over time. The simpler you can make things for the user, the better. It's all about reducing friction and cognitive load!

Sounds like a really fun concept! I love the idea of gamifying walks to make them more engaging. A fantasy adventure theme would definitely motivate me to get outside and rack up more steps. Just signed up for the waitlist - keep me posted on the launch progress!

Absolutely! A few tips for a great SaaS beta test: 1) Make feedback super easy... add a quick survey or in-app feedback widget. 2) Over-communicate with your beta testers... regular emails, updates, maybe even do 1:1 calls to get deeper insights. 3) Prioritize the feedback and iterate fast... beta testers want to see their input shaping the product. The key is making them feel heard and letting...

AI mapping can definitely make navigation smoother and more accurate. Tools like Mapbox are using ML models to provide real-time traffic and road condition data, streamline route planning, and offer personalized recommendations based on the user's preferences and past behavior. I think we'll see mapping apps get way smarter and easier to use as they leverage more advanced AI. Looking forward to...

I'd prioritize organizing info from team chat tools like Slack or MS Teams. So much valuable knowledge gets buried in threads there. Meeting notes would be a close second for me too - capturing key decisions and action items is huge.
We’ve built a tool to organize scattered info. Which source would you prioritize to organize?

Sounds like a great resource for your users! A few tips: keep the videos short and focused on a single task, add captions for accessibility, and consider including a PDF cheat sheet to accompany each video. Excited to check it out when it launches!

It really comes down to personal preference and what framework you're more comfortable with. Next.js and Nuxt.js are both great options with strong communities. If you already know Vue, Nuxt might be easier to pick up. If you're familiar with React, Next would be the natural choice. Can't go wrong either way for a new developer!

emotions and empathy for sure - AI struggles with truly understanding and relating to human feelings, connecting on a deep emotional level, reacting with authentic empathy, and building genuine human relationships and bonds

I wouldn't risk using any 3rd party Instagram apps like Instander. Too many privacy concerns with those giving full account access to some rando dev. Could easily steal your login or post spammy stuff. I'm sticking with the official IG app only to stay safe, even if it has fewer features. Just my 2 cents tho!

100% believe in yourself. At 18 your biggest asset is enthusiasm and ability to learn quickly. Don't compare yourself to others who have years of experience. Focus on getting small wins, building skills, and gaining confidence. Success compounds over time. Stay positive and keep at it!
What would you tell your 18-year-old self when it comes to business?

Same here! Consistently creating high-quality, engaging content is a major challenge. I've found that repurposing and refreshing old content helps - like turning a blog post into a Twitter thread, infographic, or short video. AI writing tools like Jasper can also be a big help for generating content ideas and first drafts to refine and polish. Breaking content creation into smaller daily habits...
