The step by governments is right. AI is being used to interfere in elections, swing social media, plant fake news, etc. Open AI has reported that an Israeli firm was used to manipulate elections in India, recently. Earlier, there have been issues of Meta involved with planting news during the last US elections. Now which government will tolerate that? This is getting to be a real problem....

Everything is in the mind. Success, failure, joy, despair, anger, exhilaration... the works. The same thing can be interpreted as success and failure depending on the person and the perspective. Ditto for the other emotions. Metrics too are a creation of the mind. It's best to stay away from all this and quiet your mind. That's the Eastern philosophical way of doing things.
