It depends on the problem I'm trying to solve.
I usually brain dump my ideas. I don't care about where they are. Then I group them and connect them, where connection is important.
For design I gather inspiration from all over the internet.
I try to look at the problem from different viewpoints. I might imagine how somebody else would look at the problem. Try to mix different ideas / areas...

I think the basic framework doesn't differ much between people, but concrete steps and methods do.
You need to have some idea what problem are you solving, but sometimes during research and analysis you realize that problem is somewhere else.
1️⃣ I research what other people did and I try to understand problem better. I organize collected information in OrgPad.
2️⃣ I analyze collected information...

I felt excited 🤩! We hadn't introduced pricing yet so it was double surprise. It was a huge motivation booster 💪. After that I worked about three times more intensively.

Congrats on starting this series 🎉! It looks promising.
You ask good questions and the whole interview is informative and digestible. People like you inspire me to improve at asking questions and communicating clearly.
I can't wait for more interviews 😍.
P. S. I also wrote you an e-mail :). I would like to know if one of us could be a part of this series.

TL;DR Tried no-code. Didn't work as expected. After experimenting, we code it ourselves.
First we tried to create our landing page in Webflow. We paid for it so we could export the code.
We wanted to save time and we felt it was difficult to create a responsive website. But we hit a few major roadblocks:
🔹 The controls are clunky. All the editing took us a long time. You get the feeling it...

I'm impressed with the results of this image upscaler. I've used Erase.bg before and it's a great product too. Huge time saver. And it gives power to people who don't know photo editing.

Nice 🙌! Looking forward to your lunch. Good luck 🍀!
I would say it was a success:
- Made new videos for onboarding.
- Joined a community and created new connections.
- Worked on email for customers who registered last month.
- Started categorizing public boards in the app.

We use our app OrgPad (brainstorming, planning, to-do list...) and Discord / Messenger / Call (Whatever just works.)
Trying keeping it to a minimum.

I usually check new notifications.
When some problem is bugging me so I can't fall asleep, I dive into the work right away after I get up. I even forget to eat 😅.

That's just a guess. I don't keep track of all the activities.
Reddit 30%, Twitter 30%, Facebook/Instagram 30%, LinkedIn 10%, Indiehackers/Producthunt 5%, YouTube: 5%. We want to try TikTok.
Although, this doesn't explain why.
Personally I like places like Reddit, Twitter, IH, and PH the most, because it's easy to meet new people, it's searchable from Google, and you can quite effectively...

We use OrgPad, a tool we're developing. It's unusual because it's not traditional blocks of text, but rather interactive pinboards.
This has three big pros:
🔹 We use tool that suits our needs and have it under control.
🔸 We test our product a lot.
🔹 And of course no extra cost.
This thread on Reddit explains loosly how we organize our knowledge base:...

Yeah, the customer feedback and their enthusiasm motivates me too. Moreover, my co-workers motivate me with their enthusiasm, hard work and creative ideas.
I'm proud I can work with @pavel_klavik, @vit_kalisz and his brother. I'm always surprised at the ideas @barus_mima comes up with.

Very useful! I had to try it immediately. I wish I had it when I was at university. I wanted to write a script for Synology back then as a preparation for exam. I didn't find time for it.

I can't imagine making a product without customer feedback.
Without it we wouldn't find many problen, even though we use our product daily a lot.
Also, we can find more about them, what they do, need and struggle with. It makes us see the problems from different angle.
It leads to a much better solution for everyone.

That's a tough question. I guess it's explaining why we're leaving out some features and not implementing them. One tries to maintain a certain approach to design while maintaining good relationships with customers.
As developers and designers, we make decisions for the users. These decisions greatly influence what the app will be.
We think about problems and how to solve them so that the...
