I got started in the "ad biz" and never left it, working across three decades, man and boy, on everything from local mom and pop pushes to national and even international Fortune 500 campaigns. In the big leagues I worked for big-brand, household name-type companies, on everything from day-to-day consumer stuff to major launches. And as a "big dork" who loves all the nerdy stuff, I greatly enjoyed working on film, TV and game releases (yes, Hollyweird), even with impossible deadlines and brutal pressure. Semi-retired now, I'm focused on effective marketing strategies for s to m-sized businesses. The big guys have their marketing directors and social media managers, but the small frys lack the time, money and expertise to market effectively – if they market at all. I can fix that.
