I usually add a lot to my cart of similar clothes (maybe different colors). Before payment, I definitely do a double-take and remove half of the items in my cart because I give myself a limit to how much I spend.

I use the Pomodoro method in a productivity app (Centered)! I also like to practice getting into the flow state! Focusing on one thing at a time, blocking out notifications/distractions, and taking breaks have been really important to me during my work hours!

I've used screen time on my iPhone to limit the time I'm spending on social media apps + schedule a specific time where I allow myself to use those apps. After watching The Social Dilemma documentary, I've also disabled a lot of unnecessary notifications! I think I've become more mindful of how I use social media apps, so I've definitely avoided doomscrolling!

Do you get into the flow state when you're working?
I'm a recent graduate and I've picked up a couple of UI/UX freelancing projects. With the pandemic and everything, it was pretty hard to find a job. I think it's a great idea, as long as everyone else in the meeting is fine with it. I personally keep myself muted unless I'm speaking in case my cat is super loud and meowing for attention! My cat loves hanging around my desk and occasionally walks across my keyboard. She definitely brings a smile to the rest of the team, so yay! :)
