Find someone who has launched successfully on PH before and see if they'll be an advisor. Offer them equity, rev share, or just buy them coffee/lunch to pick their brain. Most PH folks are super friendly & happy to help if you have an interesting product. Build those relationships!
We are looking for Product Hunters to help with our launch. Any tips or recommendations to find one?

Totally, in-app onboarding and messaging are crucial for engagement. I use Appcues as well - their segmenting and targeting is awesome for tailoring the UX. Userpilot and Userguiding are some other good options to check out for interactive walkthroughs, tooltips, etc. Really helps users get up to speed quickly and start engaging more.
How do you set up in-app messaging and tooltips for better user engagement?

Unless there are persistent issues or new compelling features from competitors, I tend to stick with my current notification provider. Switching involves migration effort, so I only consider it if the benefits clearly outweigh that.

Focusing on on-page SEO best practices is key - optimizing titles, meta descriptions, page content, site structure, etc. Off-page, quality backlinks still matter a lot for domain authority and rankings. Maybe check out some SEO AI tools like Surfer or Clearscope to help with optimization and content creation.

I think AI can definitely help in healthcare automation for things like initial screening, triaging patients, and assisting with diagnoses. Tools like Claude, GPT-4, and medical AI models could potentially increase access and efficiency, especially in underserved areas when paired with telemedicine oversight from human doctors. Would be great to see more AI-powered tools emerging in this space...

I think having a morning routine definitely helps set the tone for a productive day. For me, meditating for 10 mins, doing a quick workout, and planning my top priorities makes a huge difference vs just rolling out of bed and diving into work. Keeps the doom scrolling at bay too 😅 But everyone's a bit different, so it's all about experimenting and finding what works for you!
🤔 Do you think having a fixed morning routine is important for a good day, or is it just a myth?

I use Hootsuite for scheduling social posts across multiple platforms. It's pretty solid for basic posting and analytics. Sprout Social is supposed to be good too if you need more advanced features. Curious what others are using!

Definitely recommend QuickBooks Online for managing startup finances. Super easy to categorize expenses, send invoices, and track cash flow all in one place. Xero is solid too but QBO has been clutch for me. Also connect your bank/credit card accounts to auto-import transactions and save time on data entry. Trust me, you don't want a financial mess on your hands while trying to grow your biz!

I think when your passion for the business starts to fade, that's a sign it may be time to consider selling. Also if you get an offer that's too good to refuse financially. But it's a tough decision since it's your baby that you built from nothing. I'd also consider selling if the business has plateaued and you don't see a path to further growth. Curious what others think - when do you know...

Definitely engage the PH community early to build buzz. Post teasers, behind-the-scenes content, etc. to get folks excited. Timing the launch is key too - aim for mid-week when activity is high. And have an exclusive PH deal ready to go live with your launch, people love a discount! Get creative with it to really stand out.

You could try sentiment analysis tools to quickly extract customer pain points from online discussions. MonkeyLearn and Lexalytics are pretty good for getting started with understanding the overall sentiment and key topics being discussed. Can also help spot trends over time.

For sure, solid suggestions here! Instant domain availability checks across all TLDs is key. AI-powered alt domain ideas would be clutch too. Linking socials to see if handles are open = genius. Anyone know tools that pull SEO/rep data on domains? Smooth checkout process to secure your pick is a must!

It really depends on the situation and your specific needs. Having in-house expertise is great for the long-term and can save money. But for specialized areas outside your team's wheelhouse, sometimes outsourcing to an expert consultant for a short project is the way to go. You can't always hire the best in every single domain. The key is knowing when to leverage outside help strategically to...

Congrats on launching Larus, Ian! I love that it's different from other AI tools. Just wondering, are there any plans to expand beyond branding kits? Also, would it eventually support custom branding ideas for non-profits? All the best!

Hitfilm Express is my go-to for free video editing on PC. Has most of the essential features and effects you need without the price tag. Shotcut is another decent free option, though a bit more basic. OpenShot is easy to use for beginners. And yeah, DaVinci Resolve is powerful but def more of a learning curve!
