How to get GPT to cut out the fluff from its responses?
So, over the last year there has been 1000's of GPT based apps launched so, I can imagine there are some people in the community here who know a thing or 2 about prompt engineering.
When you ask GPT something like "Convert this JSON string to a human readable text in markdown syntax" it will give you exactly what you are after... but... it always encases it with fluff eg: "Certainly, here is...

Does your company offer remote working and is internet quality an issue when remote working?
Startup your company with a fully remote team... Ensuring people have decent internet is super important!
If anyone has the time (2-3minutes) to fill in an anonymous questionnaire on remote work and company policy I would really appreciate it :)

When reaching out to new contacts on LinkedIn, DM or Connection Request?
New business, new recruits, investors etc etc....
When you source a potential contact on LinkedIn, do you find it better to send a connection request with a message or just DM the person directly?

I don't know how nice the experience is for new members of the workforce... for established professionals though, it is a no-brainer.
People don't drift when they have intrinsic motivation for the job. If the mgmt team cannot figure that out for the team and then pulls them into the office so they can use the stick... you're in a bad place as a whole with your company.
That being said,...
What do you think of 100% remote work? Need Suggestions to implement!

Fully remote team... I keep reading in some publications that remote does not work, but, so far so good for us.
Only made possible by good data structure for the org and transparency with Atlassian and Google tools... basically all data is in "the cloud".
Do you or any member of your team work remotely?

IMHO it is all about creating a space that is inclusive... where people have the autonomy to be the best versions of themselves. To me the tooling is very important, it should not annoy, should be simple to use and ideally be inherently organised... this leaves more mental space for people to interact with the actual task at hand.
That being said, there are many tool setups that can all...

Hello everyone,
I've been seeing posts here and there about "AI resources", usually a link to some website that wants either a donation or your email before giving access... being a fan of open-source I'm not that into paywalls or being spammed.
So... I have been building up a searchable page of AI things as I see them. It is freely available on the GitHub page... no agenda... I just like to...

So far in the last 15 years of my experience, my answer would be no. I have interviewed and hired many devs over the years...
If you have the head for programming great... but the thing that sets a great developer apart from the rest is their ability to persevere through incredibly tough problems. That perseverance (or grit) IMO is the main thing that a self-taught engineer has learned when...
Do you think programmers who learned how to code in school have an edge over self-taught ones?

We use Google forms to collect feedback.
Within our product, Liffery, we added a public channel "Your ideas for Liffery" where people add their own feature requests and add their votes to others with our swipe to like feature we called the "Decision Maker"; this results in a Decision Score we use to help us decide what to build next... as this is on the user platform it doesn't cost anything...
How do you gather user feedback? 🤔

We launched Liffery last week here on PH... the platform is strong, but there are some big features that connect all the dots that are still a work in progress.
Here is the difference between two of my recent launches:
https://www.liffery.com > polished but not complete but proven need way ahead of launch and a lot effort in communication via the landing pages. 600+ votes and product of...
Is it okay to launch a product before all the features are ready?
