I love this. The only thing missing (for me) that would make Kairn absolutely amazing is the ability to break a task into sub-tasks. For example, "Instal new countertop" could be broken down into:
✓ Research contractors
✓ Get quotes from contractors
✓ Hire final contractor
✓ ...
✓ ...
And if completing these sub-tasks showed up in my "Achieved" view, that would be perfect.
I definitely plan...

This is great! I just purchased. It would be super awesome if you could add the number of realtime users. Even if it’s not truly “realtime”, that’s fine. Just a snapshot every 10 minutes or so would be sweet.

What’s done with user data? Not many people are going to just grant total access to their email. This sounds potentially dangerous.

Edabit goes beyond teaching basic syntax and instead teaches its users how to *think like programmers* (problem solving). I started working on this project because I was frustrated with the fact that every resource aimed at teaching beginners how to code stopped after basic syntax. So there was this gap between knowing basic syntax and actually making stuff. Edabit is my attempt at solving that...

Hey Matt, I'm loving Vanilla but it activates my MacBook Pro's dedicated GPU. So I can't use it when on battery. :(
