Amazing, congratulations! This kind of service is SO important and I can't wait to see what kinds of small businesses take advantage of it. What's next on the horizon?

If I'm unclear about the objectives I communicate with the organizer to get a better understanding, and also to help coordinate materials if necessary. Meetings that have no actions = emails. Basic!
How do you determine whether a meeting is worth the time?

Pros: For me, everything! I love the flexibility it offers in terms of work styles (not a morning person so working remotely lets me make my own hours or at least be comfy for morning meetings).
Cons: more meetings to gain clarity on action items. Not a deal breaker but does take some diligence for sure. We have open and honest discussions about our workloads to keep things fresh as can be.
Pros and cons of a remote first company: Go!

I found out about the way Product Hunt worked through my team and I really loved the community model aspect. It's like LI but more fun to interact with others, and I feel like I have more direct access to others in the field as well.

Creating the goals feels easy, what is harder is figuring out how to get to the "done" part. I think success is based on the overall impact of the goal and how it feels - even failures can be a success in the sense that you know it doesn't work for you or your goal. I try to map out things as much as possible that are both IN my control, and not in my control.
How do you create your goals? And how do you define success or whether you’ve achieved them?

Ooooohhh, this is tough! I try not to work in the same room as a TV (to avoid Netflix binging) and I try to block out time on my calendar so that last minute invites don't sneak in (personal and professional). But it's definitely not easy!!

I am working on my boundaries, but the way work changed during the pandemic certainly helped. I do feel more comfortable having time to process decisions in my own way in my own space, rather than feeling pressure to decide them on-site. Great question!

I have been very analog lately as I find writing things down helps me connect with the ideas! I use Rocketbook but also old-fashioned post-it notes, and I stick them on my wall. Once the task is done, I take it down. It keeps me on track and looks kind of cool!
How do you plan projects for work vs. for life?

Remote and **possibly hybrid** because then I have more time to work on other projects that A) make me happy and B) can provide supplemental income!
I would not take a pay reduction for remote work, but I know there are definitely hidden financial perks from choosing the latter over the former.
Higher pay or remote work?

All of the above, plus the ability to:
-Make my own hours (I work much more effectively from 2pm onward)
-Shut down when I need to (sometimes you just need to close the laptop and crack open a beer to take the edge off of a tense meeting!)
-Do chores like laundry, which take only a few minutes, but feels much less daunting as my day goes on rather than just piling up errands after work
