What realistic scenarios are possible when posting about a launch? And is it necessary to spamly mention this in direct messages?

I would be interested to know your opinion on Open projects. By this, I mean non-commercial project developed and maintained by a community of like-minded people, where the main motivation for each participant is to implement project to benefit a large number of people. And of course there can’t be a boss. Naturally, org developed as a network-like structure, where everyone is equal.
