I was thinking same thing this morning but for IndieHackers - especially for pods focused on build-in-public, would be great to showcase these more on platforms like PH and IH.
We got our listed on dev.to (https://dev.to/trelliswork), which is aligned with the right community too, but not the same level of discussion happening there.
Does it make sense to launch a podcast on Product Hunt?

thanks for sharing @basv - this is great. It's easy to fall into the headspace of 'too much noise, better things I can spend my time on', but those results are encouraging.
How much time do you think you spent each week over those 7 months to get the results? Curious on even the basic analytics if you're willing to share (#tweets/day, etc)!

[5:30am] - most days
(go for a run?) -> skip the run -> coffee -> plug in for an hour -> (at least do some pushups?) -> skip the pushups -> kids are up -> feed the kids -> get kids out of the house -> coffee -> plug back in for 9:00am standup!
How do you start your Monday Morning? Coffee? Brain fog?

Hard to ignore the recent advances in generative AI, to your point @yashthakker - buckle up for a whole wave of 'new breed' chatbots roaming the streets at a minimum. The cost of short form content creation is going to zero, fast. I mean, I just saw this today: https://www.producthunt.com/post... .
I see 2023 bringing a tidal wave of content moderation and filtering problems to all things...

I'm a few weeks behind you, @elifduran - great seeing the conversations around BeforeSunset.
Are you curating a community anywhere outside PH? We launched a slack community a couple weeks ago with the intention being to funnel people there, which is the objective of our launch campaign and coming soon pages. Curious if you think PH accomplishes this instead?
We launched BeforeSunset last week. Now what, any tips?

How did you learn to manage your first team?
If your first manager role started like mine, your boss slid a promotion document across the table and said, "Congratulations, you're now a first-level manager. Good luck"
I didn't find good support as a new manager trying to navigate the jump from engineer to "engineer + people manager". Instead, it was a slog, lots of missteps, and eventually got easier with more experience. But developing...

For sure - ideas are cheap. Don't sweat it. If you weren't convicted enough in the idea at the time to focus on it, then you weren't the right person to build it at the time.
Have you ever had a "brilliant" startup idea that you saw realized by someone else?

'disappearing information' is a good description for it today. We've experienced the same problem - slack channels or email updates make these feel less like actual accomplishments and more like noise that diminishes the intention.
We're getting ready to launch a team operations platform that moves this into a localized team space with permanence and history, along with all the other things...

awesome to see this @erica_xu , congrats on 1.0! I've been using for over a year now, and can't say enough good things. Aside from just being a solid note-taking app, graph view is the killer feature for me. There's something oddly satisfying about visualizing the relational data in my head! Nailed it.

SaaS App Trends / Market Saturation by Category?
Any recommendations on where to look for this kind of data-driven startup intel?
"There are 4,000 active companies building [to-do apps] today. This is down from 5,000 last year. 1,000 are new in the last 12 months. 2,000 recently shutdown. Minimize context switching.
- Turn off notifications. Almost everything can wait.
- Timebox social apps: 15 min morning, 15 min afternoon.
- Lists. Prioritized as 'must complete today', 'blocking others', 'everything else'
Keep it simple. I've over-engineered personal productivity for 15 years. The effectiveness of my 'system' has always been inversely correlated to the complexity -...
