If half the rent is going to this company, how quickly would it become worth it just to build the place yourself? Obviously some people don't want to deal with the hassle. But if you're keen on having a backyard renter, clearly you're already willing to endure some level of hassle.

Looks silly and uncomfortable, and the fact that it's one-legged means you're always going to have to exert force from your legs to stay upright — a one-legged "chair" is not really a chair at all. It's more like a crutch… Also I would imagine the bottom would wear down with frequent use, rendering the whole thing useless.

This already does this for free: http://fakeupdate.net Plus has a variety of OS options, and you don't have to download an app to your computer or clutter up your menu bar. Also doesn't take a genius to realize you're updating your computer too much.

Here's a much cheaper alternative: don't keep a gun in your house. And definitely don't keep the code to your safe on a loose piece of paper underneath the safe.

My first reaction to this website is that this is a scam. Bad design choices.

I honestly don't get what the coins are for or what this product is. There's quite a lot of content on the website and it doesn't seem to be organized in a logical way.

Enough already with reinventing the wallet! How many entrepreneurs are wasting their time fixing a product in a crowded space, that at least half the population doesn't use, and is likely to be completely useless in a couple years?

This is cool but it's totally impractical if your window receives a lot of sunlight. You don't want a really bright light behind your monitor, plus your coworkers will probably prefer you not block their view all day… Plus the layout of many offices wouldn't be conducive to using this as a desk, since usually they're are various fixtures in front of windows.
