Honestly, I can't recommend Pioneer enough for anyone willing to start a project or a business. Having your perspective change from local to global while taking part in an absorbing culture is nothing short of amazing. Even on a personal level, participating in Pioneer accelerates growth dramatically. I really consider Pioneer as one of the best things to ever happen to underserved...

A home for founders on day 0
Instead of just one person stressing out over where money is being spent, and how much money is coming in, why not let everyone record how much they bring or take? That's Mon. A one-stop money-tracking service for couples, friends, and small businesses.

Hey everyone! I'm Muhammad Harfoush, co-founder and maker of Mon. A money-tracking experience that is tailor-made for more than one person.
I started Mon last year, just after the lockdown, after a lot of searching for an expense tracker that fit my need: being able to track money with my fiance and family.
A year later, I'm happy to announce that Mon is available on Android! Even though it...

👋 Interested in expense managers? Help me out!
Hey folk, I'm getting closer to deliver my MVP of Mon, a minimalist recurring expenses manager that helps people enjoy spending their money again.
I would really appreciate it if you gave it a try and told me what you think: https://mon-flutter-app.web.app
The app is not that ready for widescreen (landscape, desktop) viewing, so I suggest you resize the window to mobile-like width if you're...

Hey there, I'm building Mon (https://mon.rocks), a service that helps people spend money only on the essentials using recurring expenses and save for something they care about using causes.
The idea is to make people worry less about money without getting crazy rich or sacrificing their lifestyle.
Mon is not ready yet for launching, and I'm looking to talk to people interested in managing...

Building Mon: Progress Update (June 8th)
Hey, everyone!
I'm founding Mon, a service that helps you manage your money in an experience that does not feel like tax filings and spreadsheets: https://mon.rocks
In the past few weeks, I have started to look for ways to make myself as consistent as possible while building Mon. That is why I will be sharing weekly updates of my progress with you, which would help me do just that (along with...

What to build first: Landing page or MVP?
Hey, I have been having a bit of a struggle lately to determine what should I do. In the past few weeks, I got invested in building the MVP of my idea. I already got a Figma prototype built for most of the core features, but I found it to be too rigid to try with potential users.
The thing is, I received feedback from other makers to work on a landing page and "sell first". I already planned...

I'm an avid user of Pinterest with ~23k monthly engagements. I really like the platform.
I really like their algorithm of matching your taste with suggestions, they are pretty accurate about it.
The thing that I don't understand though is how its ad sales is growing THAT fast. It is definitely impressive and must be a sign of a pretty good value-for-money.
Pinterest ad sales are growing faster than Google and FB. Do you use the site regularly?

I love the idea of it, and Consider as a whole. But what made me really delighted was your website, especially your company page.
This may be my second most favorite website after Stripe!

It is funny that you asked this question just after I settled on choosing PWA for my next project! 😄
I just began building my PWA, and so far it is all good. I thought I was going to build something with its own codebase, but apparently it is more of certain tweaks made to the source code itself to be considered a PWA (correct me if I'm wrong).
Why I decided to opt for PWA even though I'm...

Does Twitter become too daunting for you sometimes?
My birthday was 10 days ago, and I decided to make a big (bold) decision: To quit Twitter. Other than the memes, which I truly miss, Twitter was also a source of inspiration and a great networking tool.
But I definitely was overwhelmed by it! Yes, the service's nature is too addictive, but what was even worse is how toxic it can get before you even know. It feels to me that everyone is...

As a founder, I have always hesitated to hire a manager and even was afraid to become one.
I think, in a startup, one should always hire a people-detail-oriented person more than a technically gifted one. In startups, I believe it is more about empathy. That's why I made sure I chose my employees with the right culture fit and promote from within. If that's not what you want to do, then hire a...

It is not that co-working as a business model is not legitimate, it is that WeWork is an edge case of how eccentric startups (and their founders) are.
What its decline did affect negatively is growth-based startups, though.

Hey there! 👋
We're building Belhana, a floor management service for restaurants that lets people do everything they can do inside a restaurant—browse menus, order, call servers, pay and more—using only their phones.
What we're trying to do is to make running a restaurant extremely efficient. It works by giving customers and restaurants the tools to instantly communicate with each other. For...
