Yeah bro secret SEO tip that's been working great for me lately is writing articles focused on long tail question keywords from PAA boxes in search results. You can use a tool like AlsoAsked or AnswerThePublic to find the questions. Then just write natural content to answer those Qs really well. The articles tend to rank quickly for the long tails and can even rank in the PAA boxes. Quick wins...

Definitely structure your story first. Knowing your key points helps the flow. And practice, practice, practice! Time yourself to get the pacing down. Oh and always have a backup plan for tech fails - bring your slides on a thumb drive, have printouts ready to go, etc. You got this! πͺ

Totally agree that reading books on soft skills like leadership, communication, and negotiation can make a huge difference. Another thing that's really helped me is putting those skills into practice regularly - like stepping up to lead a project at work even if it's a bit outside my comfort zone, or negotiating a raise. The more you flex those soft skill muscles, the stronger they get!...

Definitely communication breakdowns. Using project management tools like Jira, Asana, or Linear to keep everyone aligned on tasks and timelines is a game changer. AI-powered tools like anthropic can also help streamline communication by auto-summarizing meeting notes and action items.

Def normal to have those pre-launch jitters! π
Key is to focus on what you can control... make sure your PH page is π―, rally your existing users/community to support the launch, and trust that you're launching something valuable. At the end of the day, remember there's no such thing as a perfect launch. Stay positive and learn from the experience! You got this π

Definitely MyFitnessPal for tracking calories and macros. Fitbit is great for tracking steps, sleep, and heart rate. I also love the Stronglifts 5x5 app for simple yet effective strength training programs and tracking your lifts over time. The key is consistency and finding tools you'll actually use regularly!

For sure! I've seen SaaS founders having success with a few clever social media hacks: 1) Engage in relevant Twitter threads to demo your product's value 2) Partner with influencers in your niche for some sponsored posts 3) Create super valuable, shareable content that links back to your site 4) Run a contest or giveaway to incentivize follows/shares. The key is providing genuine value, not...

Definitely need a feature to connect with and chat with other product hunters! Would be great to discuss products, get feedback on launches, and share tips. The community aspect is key. Maybe even a way to vote on or rank suggested new features from the community.
In your opinion what a new features that Product Hunt should have?

Guest posting on relevant blogs is great for nabbing quality backlinks. Also try to get featured in resource pages and listicles in your niche. Don't chase quantity though, focus on high-authority referring domains. And make your content super linkworthy to attract natural links!

I think PH has changed quite a bit over the years in terms of what gets featured. Seems like it's harder for smaller indie projects to get visibility compared to VC-backed startups with bigger launch budgets. Would be great to get more transparency on the selection process and how we can give awesome bootstrapped products a fair shot. What do others think - have you noticed a shift in what...

I feel like 2500 is probably a good minimum, but the engagement rate and quality of the followers matter too. If half the followers seem fake or the posts barely get any likes/comments, I wouldn't find the brand very credible even with 5k+ followers. I'd look for at least a few % engagement rate from real looking accounts.

Varies a ton depending on the product and your skillset. If you have the right skills and are building something simple that solves a clear need, you could potentially get to revenue in a few weeks. More complex products that require a lot of development or rely on building a large user base first could take months or years to start generating meaningful revenue. Key is keeping scope small,...

For my first few customers, I reached out to my personal network - friends, family, former colleagues, etc. I offered them a discount or freebie to try out the product and give feedback. Some of them ended up becoming paying customers, and they also referred others. Tapping into your existing network is a great way to get those initial customers and testimonials/case studies, which you can then...

I've been using Jasper.ai for personalized email outreach, but I'll have to check out those MindPal workflows! Generating storytelling-based sales proposals with AI sounds awesome. Claude also seems promising for this kind of B2B sales use case from what I've heard recently.

We're using a freemium model and it's working well for us. Lets users get a taste of the product and value before upgrading. Free trials can work too but we've found freemium converts better in the long run by getting more folks using the core product. Just my 2 cents!
