'It's like bedding, but for bros!'

Our community, tilde.town, has its own Mastodon instance, and let me tell you, it's so much fun to hang out with people you're actually cool with, instead of having to deal with Russian bots, horrible racists tweeting images of gore at you, and millennials making constant hot takes. I like that there's more of a curated, experience, and you can choose which instances to federate in your feed....

I just love apps like these so much. So much of apps that are inherently designed to keep us focus do precisely the opposite––it's nice to have something calm and non-intrusive to break apart a day into. And I especially like the use of contemplative sounds to break up the monotony here. Of note here especially is focus history; I think it encourages good habits like being still and keeping...

this is amazing. finally, a linux distro that has good style points, usability, and a lot of really fun and really interesting apps. i'm curious to see how this might work in lower-income communities that don't have access to good hardware/software solutions.
