Who am I? I'm a guy from Alabama with two English degrees who moved to San Francisco five years ago with no money and no plan. I wanted a career in tech, but nobody would give me a chance. So I said "Fine, I'll do it myself!" and that's exactly what I did. Now, I'm a fully self-taught indie maker doing business as Chainlift, and I'm on a mission to empower others. I create tools that help people without tech degrees make incredible things and earn a decent living doing it. Tech has a problem with gatekeeping knowledge, and through Chainlift, I aim to solve it. Using the profits from our paid tools, I'll fund the production of free, high-quality learning materials that help specialists fill in the gaps in their skillsets: a public instruction manual for how to create unicorns.
